PRO AUSSIE (4) is a two-start maiden who finished fourth, beaten 1.75 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f22yards at Geelong. Will take a lot from that hit-out and looks a strong chance to break through. MRS PENNY CRACKER (11) is yet to break through in eight runs. Finished ninth after being in the firing line on the turn at her last appearance over 7½f at Caulfield Heath on November 28. Cannot be ruled out in this suitable assignment. AMARA VALENCIA (9) is a four-start maiden who finished fourth, beaten 4.5 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Moonee Valley. Definite top-three hope with plenty of improvement to come.
