Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Will prove tough to beat. ELOUYOU (3) has three placings from three runs this campaign, most recently finishing second as favourite over 7f at Flemington after being prominent at the bend. Inside draw will assist. Among the leading chances. LITTLE COINTREAU (9) showed little early speed last start then lengthened in good style in the straight to finish third at this track over this journey. Has never been out of the placings in five starts at this journey and is right in the mix. HUGHES (13) returned from a lay-off two-and-a-half weeks ago when he was beaten 4.5 lengths into fifth over 6¼f at Canterbury. Fitter so can figure in the finish.
