THE SLAP (3) was thereabouts last time out when fifth over 6f at Port Hedland after he was handy all the way. Won't be bothered by this longer journey. Worth following up. CHEDDAR BOB (5) was a most impressive maiden winner over 7f at this track last time out, scoring by 6 lengths. Michael Heagney was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the mount. Nicely placed to double the win tally. ROCKIN' THE SILKS (6) started at 5/1 last time and ran below expectations, finishing seventh and beaten 4.5 lengths at Broome over 6f. Finds a nice race and can make amends. ROCKING THE MERC (2) was prominent at the corner and finished second last start over 7f38yards at Broome, beaten 2 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run again.
