MERCURIUS (3) last appeared two-and-a-half weeks ago over 1m1/2f at Bunbury when he finished tenth. This is his first run for the A M King stable. Bright prospects. MONEY FOR OLD ROPE (1) finished eighth two runs back at Geraldton then improved last time out to score by a long neck after being in contention on the turn over 7f at this track. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot repeat the dose. ZEEWIJK (2) showed good early dash before weakening to be beaten 12 lengths into seventh over 1m at Port Hedland last time out. Form at this track is solid. Should be involved in the finish. KENTUCKY BLUE (5) fought on for third last start over 6½f at Port Hedland, beaten 4.5 lengths to add to some fine recent form. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time.
