MURRAJONG ROAD (2) finished 1.2 lengths away in fourth last time out over 7¾f at Mackay a week-and-a-half ago. Steps up in distance. Jockey switch to Justin Huxtable who has two wins from five rides. Should be in the finish. FLAMENCO ROSE (5) has put together back-to-back placings after scoring three back at Mackay, most recently beaten 1.75 lengths into third after she gave away a big start over 1m1f at Mackay. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish. BRAND NEW (6) finished 4.5 lengths away in ninth last time out over 7¾f at Mackay after being in the firing line on the bend a week-and-a-half ago. Steps up in distance. Should be poised just off the lead. Sure to be competitive. RANGI TOA (3) has not won for a long while. Last raced on June 15 when beaten 6 lengths into fifth at Warwick over 7½f. Going up a level this time but he has the ability to mix it with them.
