MONDAY CHOICE (6) is a two-start maiden who filled a minor placing at this track at the last run before lay-offing. Impressive winner of a recent trial at Rockhampton. Well placed and happy to have her on top. SILVERADO MISS (4) finished fifth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 6½f at Mackay, beaten 4.5 lengths. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. STEP TO SUCCESS (5) wasn't far away on debut last start over 5f at Townsville, finishing third and beaten 3.5 lengths. Has ability and must be respected. AGNES WATERS (8) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 4f at Thangool, beaten 3.5 lengths after being prominent at the bend. Fitter so expect a better run this time.
