SUPER ROOSTER (10) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third at this track over 7½f after being in the firing line all the way. Drawn to stalk the leaders. Well placed this line-up and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. KLONDIKE STRIKE (8) finished 6 lengths adrift in sixth last time at Mackay after being prominent at the turn in a disappointing performance. Nicely placed to make amends. CITY PLAYBOY (3) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6½f at Mackay, beaten 6 lengths into fourth. Likely improver with strong prospects. HOLY CROWN (4) filled a minor placing when fresh from a lay-off two starts ago. Could not back that up last time when 6 lengths away in 11th over 6f at Sunshine Coast. Open to improvement so she can make amends.
