THE HAIRDRESSER (8) was well in commission last time out but could only manage to finish 11th over 6½f at this track in a disappointing performance. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. JUNGLE BEAT (4) finished seventh two runs back at Thangool then improved last time out to score by 2.5 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn over 5¼f at this track. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot repeat the dose. OBLIQUITY (7) improved sharply on his sixth two starts back at this track with success over 6f at Thangool three-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 4.5 lengths after being in contention on the turn. Facing a tougher assignment but he is worth serious consideration. CRYPTIC PRISM (5) was a winner over 5½f at this track last time, racing on the pace before getting the upper hand and scoring by 0.8 lengths. Can figure in the finish again.
