NIGHTSTICK (4) finished 7 lengths away in fourth last time out over 7f at Sunshine Coast Poly two-and-a-half weeks ago. Steps up in distance. Won't find this as tough. Bold showing expected. Group 3 placegetter VOLDEMORT (5) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 13 lengths away in eighth over 5f at Charleville. Finds a tougher race but he has the talent to test this line-up. MURRAJONG ROAD (1) finished second when resuming two runs back at Thangool then progressed nicely last time out to score by a nose as public elect over 7¾f at Mackay. Stepping up a level this time but on current form he is good enough to take this out. ROY'S ROAD (6) ran below expectations last time at Mackay, finishing fifth and beaten 1.5 lengths. Has a good record at this course and distance, including a win and three minor placings. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time.
