WINSTON HILLS (5) was well supported when resuming last time out over 6¼f at Canterbury and proved too strong, scoring by 2.25 lengths. Open to plenty of improvement and happy to have him on top. ZOUPRINCE (8) comes into this in winning form after scoring over 6f at Newcastle but takes on tougher company here. Stronger grade here but is expected to run well again. THE REPLICANT (7) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just three times from 31 starts. Was again denied last start when he found a couple better over 6¼f at Randwick Kensington. Nicely placed to play a major role. HEADLEY GRANGE (3) is having his first run since July 20. Goes very well when fresh with two wins from two starts, the latest over 6f at Kembla Grange at the start of last prep. Fitter for a seventh in a recent trial over 3f207yards at Warwick Farm. One of the genuine hopes in the race.
