BLUE VEIN (1) is a locally trained maiden galloper who resumes after finishing in the money over 6f at Newcastle nine months ago. Trialling well leading into this. Leading contender. WEST HEAD (3) missed the frame on debut then progressed nicely at his second outing, finishing half a length from the winner in third at the end of 6¾f at Wyong. Taking on a better line-up this time but he deserves plenty of thought. CALL ME MOJO (4) is a three-start maiden who finished fourth at his most recent appearance over 6½f at Randwick Kensington. Suited in this line up and is among the better hopes. ENDURE (7) wasn't far away on debut last start over 6½f at Newcastle, finishing second and beaten a neck. Can figure in the finish.
