AMBERITE (13) stuck on well last start to finish second over 1m2f at Caulfield after showing good early speed. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is good enough to take this out. TIME QUEST (14) finished fourth two runs back at Warwick Farm then improved last time out to score by a nose after being in the firing line on the corner over 1m at Warwick Farm. Must raise the bar but another big run is on the cards. AKASAWA (4) finished third last start over 1m at Gunnedah when he made late ground, beaten half a length. Must raise the bar but he has the talent to test this line-up. EAGLEMONT (7) turned in another moderate effort last start when 7 lengths from the winner in 11th over 1m1f at Eagle Farm. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects.
