NEED SOME LUCK (4) is progressing well this campaign. Opened with a ninth at Scone two starts back then landed the prize by 2 lengths last time out after being in the firing line on the bend over 6¼f at Canterbury. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is one of the key runners. YANKEE ONE (11) showed good early dash last start and held on well to finish one length back in third over 6¼f at Canterbury. Finds a tougher race but she has the talent to test this line-up. SETOMBE (12) turned in a eye-catching run over 5½f at Warwick Farm last start when she got back but wound up hard to finish a close second. Solid top-three hope. KERGUELEN (8) has been kept fresh since winning over 6f at Kembla Grange. Kept up to the mark with a recent Rosehill trial. Has the ability to give this a shake.
