Group 3 placegetter THE YEARS (6) started at 3/1 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 2.75 lengths at Canterbury over 7¾f after being in contention on the corner. Worth noting Regan Bayliss goes aboard. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. INFINITIVE (4) hasn't raced since finishing fourth at Randwick over 1m a month ago. Kept ticking over with a placing in a recent trial at Rosehill. Rates highly and is one of the leading contenders. FRENCH BONNET (2) did little and finished 3.5 lengths from the winner in sixth over 6½f at Rosehill last start after being in contention on the corner, a less impressive effort than her when resuming fifth at Randwick the run before. Finds an easier assignment and can take this out. Nicely placed to maintain the form.
