MISS COUVER (10) tackled the Guy Walter Stakes over 7f at Randwick last time out when fresh from a lay-off and was beaten 4.5 lengths into seventh by Hell Hath No Fury. Can feature in this easier company. XTRA GEAR (3) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing third when resuming last time out over 5½f at Rosehill. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot salute. WAIKIKI (5) finished third over 5½f at this track at her most recent appearance on October 25. Hasn't scored when fresh from a break but generally races well with two minor placings. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race. AMOREAUX (6) didn't do a bad job when fifth last start over 6f at Canterbury. That followed a win at Canterbury the start prior. Worth plenty of thought.
