ETUDE (11) opened this campaign last start with a second, beaten 2.5 lengths, over 5f at Taree. Likely to be in the finish. RIVER PAT (7) has been in the placings her past two starts, finishing second over 6f at Newcastle last time out. Will find this a little easier than last time. Well placed and sure to run well. CATCHY TUNES (8) started at 3/1 last time on the back of a win at Bathurst two starts ago but was below her best, finishing seventh over 5f at Kempsey after being in the firing line on the turn. Meets a stronger field but she is capable of running a bold race. LADY SOAMES (1) last raced when successful by a nose over 6f87yards at Muswellbrook four-and-a-half months ago. Can make her presence felt.
