JACK DUGGAN (6) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m2f at Beaumont (Newcastle), beaten 2.5 lengths into eighth. Likely improver with strong prospects. SUBARCTIC (3) drifted well back last start before winding up strongly to just miss out over 1m at Warwick Farm. Rates highly and expected to go well. HUNTER BRED (7) built on a nice second two starts back at Wyong with a win as public elect over 1m2f at Beaumont (Newcastle) a week-and-a-half ago, getting home by 0.7 lengths. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot score again. LIKE LUKEY (5) settled well back then came home powerfully to score by 1.5 lengths over 1m1f at Hawkesbury last time out. Has a formidable combination with Jose Severo who has been aboard for her last three wins. Can play a role in the finish.
