FAT ROY SLIM (2) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 6 lengths back in sixth over 1m3f at Ascot. Rates highly and expected to go well. ARNRAY (4) was thereabouts two starts ago before a disappointing seventh most recently over 1m4f at Ascot. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Likely to feature. GOLD FRIARS (1) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 1.75 lengths from the winner in third over 1m2 1/2f at Geraldton after being prominent at the corner. Finds a suitable race and can get the job done. LA CARTIER (9) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m2f at this track, beaten 4 lengths into seventh. Nicely placed to find some form.
