SANDFIRE ROSE (9) was thereabouts last time out when second at this track over 7f, beaten a neck. Should be at her peak now. Yet to find winning form this prep but has been thereabouts with three placings from four starts. Expected to feature. WARNING SHOT (5) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then he got a long way back and was beaten 4 lengths when sixth in a 7f contest at this track two weeks ago. Nicely placed to get the prize. KING KAWANA (4) did little and finished 5.5 lengths from the winner in fifth over 7f at this track last start, a less impressive effort than his fourth at Pinjarra Scarpside the run before. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. WHAITIRI (8) made progress last time out, finishing 2.5 lengths from the winner in second over 1m at this track. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run.
