UNLIMITED MAGIC (8) was expected to do more last start when out of the placings over 5f at Cranbourne, beaten 7 lengths. Won't find this as tough so she is set to turn things around. ESECUTORE (1) finished fifth last time out over 6f on turf at Sandown-Lakeside, beaten 2.25 lengths. First try on synthetic. Blinkers go on. Looks a top chance. FREDERICK (3) raced just off the lead before letting down nicely and scoring a 1.75 lengths win over this journey at Moe last time. Solid winning hope. KEW PLAYER (6) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing sixth at Geelong over 6f155yards. Patrick Moloney gets the best out of this six-year-old gelding. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time.
