NEFERURE (9) impressed last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished 4.5 lengths from the winner in second over 7f at Bendigo. Finds the right race this time and can take the next step and salute. TWINKLE VAN WINKLE (11) wound up strongly last time out to finish 1.2 lengths adrift in third over 1m1/2f at Sale. Settles back early but winds up late. Will prove tough to beat. FIVE STAR KING (14) was prominent until they straightened last time but weakened to finish sixth over 1m1 1/2f at Kyneton. Worth including in this suitable contest. BOOM BANG (1) finished second at Moe two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 6f at Mornington, finishing 9 lengths back in 12th. Open to improvement and should be about the mark.
