EXOTHRILL (1) held on well to finish second when when resuming from a break last time out over 5f at Goulburn after leading for much of the way. Rates highly and will be hard to peg back. STORMFIELD (3) is a maiden galloper who hasn't raced since finishing 4 lengths back in sixth over 5f at Kembla Grange five months ago. Fitter for two trials, placing most recently. Leading contender. HIGHWIRE FLYER (4) strode forward early from her wide draw over 5f at Wyong last time before fading to finish eighth. One of the main contenders. SLAY QUEEN (11) is returning from a lay-off of six-and-a-half months. Finished seventh at Scone over 4½f at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Bjorn Baker. Will be fit enough for this following a recent trial win.
