THREW (4) drifted well back last start then wound up strongly to finish fifth, beaten 4 lengths, over 1m2 3/4f at Wyong. Capable of overwhelming this field late in proceedings. ROMAN HANDS (1) finished 13 lengths behind the winner in sixth over 2m at Wagga last start after lifting strongly to score two runs back. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Best figures should see him run well. BUFF IN DISGUISE (3) turned in an eye-catching run last start over 1m1 1/2f at Newcastle, dropping out early before coming home with a powerful run to finish third. Among the chances and will be tough to stop. HOT GOSPEL (5) has progressed nicely in her last couple of runs. Finished third at Mudgee two starts back then landed the prize by a nose last time out over 1m3f at Dubbo. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role.
