STARANE (3) is fitter for two runs from a lay-off, last start finishing a neck away in third over 5f at Scone. Fitter and should be in the finish. THREEFOLD (8) recorded a gutsy maiden victory last time out over 5½f at Nowra, scoring by a head. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Looks well placed and she is worth including. CAN DO IT (6) is backing up six days after finishing sixth over 5½f at Bathurst. Should be competitive in this suitable race. VIOLET AND BLUE (4) showed good early speed over 5f at Warren last time and went on to salute by 1.5 lengths. Form this campaign has been strong with three wins to her credit. Not to be discounted.
