SHANONI (12) progressed nicely last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished just 0.6 lengths from the winner in second over 7¾f at Canterbury after being in contention on the bend. Faces an easier assignment so she is a major player. GOLDEN CENTURY (1) finished third, beaten one length, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 7½f at Hawkesbury. Placed to advantage and can take this out. SLEUTH (4) was in the money two starts back at Gosford but was unable to repeat the effort last time when sixth, beaten 5 lengths, at Warwick Farm over 1m. Finds a nice race and can make amends.
