BALMAIN DARLING (11) wasted no time getting off the mark on debut over 4½f at this track two-and-a-half weeks ago. Has plenty of upside and can win again. ZOUBEAUTY (2) went forward when resuming last start over 5f at Muswellbrook and held on well for second, beaten a neck. Must raise the bar but she has the ability to test this field. SPECK (4) drew out and was out of the money latest when fifth over 5f at Muswellbrook. Meets a tougher line-up this time but is among the better hopes.
