HOWLER (13) settled back on debut last time out but wound up strongly in the run home to finish third over 6¼f at Canterbury. Big chance based on that effort. MANOS (3) faced the starter for the first time and was well supported but could only manage fourth last start at Canterbury over 6¼f, beaten 1.3 lengths. Likely improver and can get off the mark this time. EVERYBODY RISE (1) returned last time with a solid second at Randwick Kensington over 5¾f when he worked home well. This is the right race and can take this out. SHANWAH (20) ran below expectations last start, finishing seventh and beaten 7 lengths at Rosehill over 7f. Suitably placed so expecting a better run this time.
