JURA VAUDOIS (8) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 4.5 lengths away in fourth last time out over 5½f at Strathalbyn. Finds an easier assignment and can turn things around. ELLIOTTO (2) drifted back and never threatened when 11th last start over 5½f at Hamilton. Has the class to produce a better result. SMASHING ACTION (13) raced on the speed and was game in defeat when a close second last start over 5½f at Strathalbyn. Has registered two minor placings from three runs this campaign. Should be prominent from the outset. One of the main contenders. LIKE A DIAMOND (12) gave away a considerable start over 5f at Murray Bridge last time before hitting the line well to finish fourth. Will be putting in the big strides late.
