MYCHYNA (4) finished second at Ballina two runs back but was less effective last time over 6½f at Ballina, finishing 6 lengths back in seventh after being prominent at the turn. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. WORTHY ESSGEE (8) raced on the speed and found plenty to score by a head at this track and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. Looks well placed so expect another big run. LONDON POINT (5) was in the placings when a length back from the winner last start at this track on soft going and is down in weight this time. Will drift back but wind up late. Will be picking them up late. VELVET (12) was in contention on the turn and finished third last start over 5¼f at Gold Coast Poly when she worked home well, beaten 0.9 lengths. Should take a lot from that hit-out. In the mix.
