Drawn to go forward. Nicely placed to take this out. CORVALIST (3) is still a maiden after 10 starts. Could only manage to finish fourth last time out over 5½f at Lismore following a minor placing at Coffs Harbour over 6f the run prior. Should be in the mix. BARRON (2) is finding the breakthrough elusive, beaten 11 lengths into seventh at his latest appearance over 6¼f at Ballina. Will drift back but wind up late. One of the contenders.
