Likely improver with strong prospects. TORONADO'S DREAM (8) was well fancied last start over 7f at Ballarat Synthetic when third, beaten 2.5 lengths. Won't find this as tough. Leading contender. CUBEACHECK (1) was never really a threat on debut last start over 6f at Pakenham Synthetic, finishing 10 lengths from the winner in eighth. With natural improvement he can feature in the finish. PALTINIAN (2) is back from a lay-off of five months. Debuted with a second, beaten 4.5 lengths, over 6½f at Ararat at his only appearance to date. Big run is on the cards.
