HOWLING VICTORY (11) turned in a strong run two starts ago at Sapphire Coast then failed to back it up over 1m3/4f at Canberra Acton last time, beaten 8 lengths into sixth. Coming back in trip suits so can bounce back. PRETTY RHO (5) was in a different class last time out, settling well back before rounding up her rivals to score by 4 lengths over 1m at Kembla Grange. Will prove tough to hold out again. EXCEEDINGLY HOT (2) led into the straight last start over 1m2f at Wagga on soft going but could not sustain the pressure and finished tenth. Coriah Keatings who has scored on him two times retains the mount. Sure to be competitive. GEOSTORM (6) was beaten 2.5 lengths into fourth over 1m at Sapphire Coast last time out. Better than recent efforts suggest.
