DUKE OF BRONTE (1) is yet to break through after six career starts. Managed to find the placings at Newcastle two starts back before finishing fourth over 5f at Hawkesbury last time. Finds a nice race and gets the chance to break through. KICKAMUSHU (7) is back after a break of six months. Went close to a maiden win before the layoff, finishing third at her latest appearance over 6f at Canterbury. Has ability and is a solid chance. JINSOKU (2) is a maiden galloper resuming. After a lay-off of six months. Closed last campaign with a 13th over 5½f at Gold Coast, beaten 13 lengths. Fitter for two trials, placing most recently. Should be involved in the finish. PUZZLER (9) ran below expectations when fresh from a lay-off at Goulburn over 4½f last time, finishing ninth and beaten 6 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time.
