TARAMANSOUR (5) did a good job last start to finish second in the LR Australia Day Cup at Warwick Farm over 1m4f, beaten 0.7 lengths. Big threat over the longer journey. THE MAP (4) resumed over 1m2f last time out and turned in a solid effort to finish sixth in the LR Birthday Cup at this track. The extra journey should play into her hands. Poses a significant threat. GRAND PIERRO (2) was a narrow winner by 0.8 lengths in the LR Bagot Hcp at Flemington in a then second at Caulfield last time. Down in the weights on last run. Winning rider Zac Spain stays aboard. Sure to be competitive. GOTTA GO GURU (13) scored last start at Morphettville Parks to make it three wins from six starts this campaign. Tougher company here but is among the better hopes.
