GIN SPIRIT (4) is a talented filly who was well held last time out in the tougher Blue Diamond Prelude (Fillies) won by Palm Angel over 5½f at Caulfield, beaten 4 lengths into sixth. Will appreciate this easier race. STEEL TRAP (3) was an impressive winner last time over 5¼f at this track, stalking the pace before lengthening nicely to score by 3 lengths. Stiffer assignment here but she is a leading contender. LA ROUX (1) is a progressive type still in first campaign but off to a great start to career. Rates well and worth including on record this journey. ARTISTIC ANGEL (5) is a Flying Artie filly from Salome who is making her debut. Last trial Won a stall trial trial over 4f at Morphettville on February 11. Should run a bold race.
