AREAAN (9) did a fair job on debut last time out, finishing a long neck from the winner in second over 6f at this track. Should improve sharply and this looks a nice race. ULTRA BLUE (6) returned from a lay-off three weeks ago when he was beaten 3.5 lengths into sixth over 6f22yards at Geelong. Enjoys a drop in grade so he is a major player. STORMY MALICE (12) turned in a solid run when resuming last start over this course and distance, finishing second and beaten only half a length. Among the winning hopes. SUGARFIRE (13) was close to a maiden win before a five months break, finishing off with a placing over 6½f at Hawkesbury. Expect she has come on over the break. Has ability and must be included in calculations.
