MELODIA PERFECTA (6) showed early speed from a good draw last start then battled on well for third, beaten 0.9 lengths, over 6f at this track. Placed to advantage so expect a big run. EVIL LOVER (4) produced a good effort last start when third over 5f at this track to make it three minor placings from three runs this campaign. Rates highly and expected to run well again. LI'L BRAZEN (5) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 2.75 lengths back in fifth over 5f155yards at Geelong. One of the main contenders. DREAMWRITER (3) returned from a lay-off three weeks ago when she was in contention on the corner before being beaten 4.5 lengths into eighth over 6f22yards at Geelong. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time.
