SMITHWICK'S SPICE (6) finished sixth, beaten 4 lengths, last time out over 5½f in stakes class at Saratoga (Turf). Has a strong record this course, scoring at four of seven starts. One of the contenders. GOLD TRUST (5) was an impressive winner last time over 1m at this track (Turf), leading throughout and putting 2.75 lengths on his rivals. Another bold showing expected.
