ST ERLING (8) has been in great form with two placings in succession, most recently when beaten 2.75 lengths into third over 5½f at this track (Dirt) when he was handy all the way. Finds the right race this time and can get the job done. EL MEDIANOCHE (13) got a long way back when 9 lengths from the winner in ninth over 6f at this track last start, a less impressive effort than his fourth on debut at this track the run before. Will enjoy a drop in class so he is a major player. PAPA'S NICO BOY (1) ended up 8 lengths behind the winner in seventh on debut last start over 5½f at Saratoga (Turf). Aided by the rails draw after a wide alley last time. Will take a lot from that experience. Top-three chance. K PAZ (2) has filled a minor placing at both runs to date, the latest when beaten 4 lengths into third over 5½f at this track (Dirt). Drawn to enjoy a nice trail just off the pace. Not to be discounted.
