RAVENITE (7) led and just failed to hang on last start over 5½f at this track on soft going when well supported to make it three minor placings from three runs this campaign. Blinkers go on. Looks a top chance. CAVILL TYCOON (1) stepped out on his debut over 6f at Wodonga three weeks ago and finished fourth, beaten 2.5 lengths. Will improve and looks well placed. JOVIALE (2) returned from a lay-off two-and-a-half weeks ago when he was beaten 3 lengths into seventh over 5f at Morphettville Parks. Faces an easier assignment so he will prove hard to beat. PAULSIN (5) ran below expectations last start, finishing fifth and beaten 8 lengths at Pooncarie over 6f. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time.
