RUN ROCKET (5) drifted well back and failed to finish it off last start when fifth, beaten 8 lengths, over 1m at Evangeline Downs (Dirt). Finds a nice race and can find winning form. PEPPER JACK (4) finished 6 lengths from the winner in fourth last start over 5f at this track, an improvement on his seventh at this track the run before. Finds an easier assignment and can get the job done. HELAIRE (7) is experiencing a long win drought, extended last start when fourth over 1m1/4f at this track (Dirt) after being in the firing line on the bend. Placed to advantage and can feature in the finish. SMARTY ALEX (3) missed the frame on turf over 7½f at this track in a then filled a minor placing last start on dirt over 1m1/4f at this track. Making progress. Can figure in the finish again.
