JUNIORS JOANIE (2) improved last time out, finishing 4 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 1m at this track after being in the firing line on the bend. Looks well placed so expect another big run. PETULA (7) is a consistent performer with four minor placings from four starts this campaign. Continued the trend at the most recent appearance when runner-up over 1m at this track (Turf) after she was always up in the leading division. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. LADY WITH A CAUSE (10) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when she was never in contention over 1m1/2f at Lone Star Park, beaten 10 lengths into seventh. Has the ability to produce a better result. SALOMEINTHEHOOP (3) improved sharply last time out to score by 2 lengths over 1m at this track (Turf) a month ago. Finds a suitable race and can feature prominently.
