THE THIMBLE (1) ran another good race last time when third over 6f at this track (Dirt), beaten 1.75 lengths. Overdue and gets his chance. HOOSIER (5) raced close to the lead before clearing out to score an effortless 3.5 lengths win over 6½f at this track (Dirt) last time. Generally goes well here. Bold showing expected. CARLOS PUNCH (2) did little and finished 14 lengths from the winner in fifth over 6f at this track last start, a less impressive effort than his fourth at this track the run before. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. PINCH ME A PENNY (6) was expected to do more last start when out of the placings over 5½f at this track (Dirt), beaten 10 lengths. Finds a nice race and can atone.
