LE MONSTRE RAPIDE (1) finished 12 lengths adrift in sixth last time at Evangeline Downs (Turf) in a disappointing performance. Ideally placed and is sure to be there at the finish. SPARKIN (4) finished second two runs back at this track (Dirt) then improved last time out to score by 0.3 lengths over 7½f at this track (Turf). Lindey Wade scored on him last time and retains the mount. It doesn't get any easier but on current form he is good enough to take this out. SLEW CITY HENRY (6) had been steadily working his way into form, culminating in a win last time out by half a length over 1m1/4f on dirt at this track. Switches to a turf track for the first time. Back to winning form and is worth following up. ITELLYOUTHEFACTS (3) has not won for a long while. Last raced on June 7 when beaten 7 lengths into sixth at Evangeline Downs (Dirt) over 1m. Goes up a rung or two but he is worth another chance.
