FABLED RULER (3) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when second over 1m1/4f at this track (Dirt) after being in the firing line all the way. Backmarker who gets home hard. Meets some better types this time but he has the ability to test this field. JULIA'S WARRIOR (6) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 7f at this track, beaten 7 lengths after being in contention on the bend. Going up a level this time but he deserves plenty of thought. DEEP STATE (2) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at this track (Dirt) over 7f. Nicely placed to feature in the finish.
