MARIAH'S CANDY (8) finished out of the money when fresh from a lay-off two starts back then she was always well out of her ground and was beaten 7 lengths when fourth in a 5f contest at Will Rogers Downs two months ago. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. MISS TULSA (1) started at 4/1 last time and ran below expectations, finishing seventh and beaten 10 lengths at Evangeline Downs (Turf) over 1m. Won't find this as tough so she is a major player. PHUNK (7) tackled a turf track for the first time last start when out of the placings over 5f at this track, 3.5 lengths away from the winner. Expect she will go on with the job. CANADA CANDY (9) turned in a decent effort last start to finish second over 5f at Sam Houston Park. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role.
