RECKLESS RED (9) finished in the placings when a 2.25 lengths second on dirt at Sam Houston Park in a but then disappointed on turf last time at Sam Houston Park over 5f when eighth, finishing 5.5 lengths from the winner. Form at this track is solid. Will prove tough to beat. LUCKY PROMISE (6) finished fifth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 5f at this track, beaten 2 lengths. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. FORT HOOD (7) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 6½f at Sam Houston Park, beaten 4 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. Better than recent efforts suggest.
