THE KHAN (11) finished fourth over 6¾f at Ipswich when resuming last start, beaten only 1.75 lengths. Fitter so expect a better run this time. NAILS AND PRIDE (5) is coming along nicely this prep. Finished ninth when fresh from a lay-off two starts back at Ipswich then improved and scored over 6f122yards at Ballina three weeks ago, getting home by 1.2 lengths after being in the firing line on the bend. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat again in this suitable race. ROYAL RIFT (6) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 11 lengths when seventh in a 1m3f contest at Grafton two-and-a-half weeks ago. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. MULLUMOVA (13) doesn't win out of turn but ran a strong race last time out over 7f at Ballina, finishing second and beaten a nose. Nicely placed to feature in the finish.
