THE RIDDLER (4) finished one length from the winner in fifth last start over 7f at Coffs Harbour, an improvement on his sixth at Grafton the run before. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. LIP SMACKER (12) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when she was beaten 2.5 lengths into fifth over 7f at Gold Coast. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time. LAGOON (7) gave away a big start at the top of the straight last start and finished 3 lengths from the winner in fourth over 6¼f at Ballina. Suited in this line up and is among the better hopes. MERRON MOLLY (8) was in a rearwards position on the turn last time out before finishing 13 lengths back in ninth over 6f at Doomben. Likely to be thereabouts.
