BEAN FOGGY (3) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Gold Coast, beaten 2.5 lengths after being prominent at the bend. Second up record is very strong. Ben Looker gets the best out of this six-year-old gelding. Strips fitter and can go on to take this out. BOLD HOI HO (8) finished fourth two runs back at Kempsey then improved last time out to score by 3.5 lengths after being prominent at the bend over 1m at Grafton. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. JAKAT (10) was in contention on the turn and finished second last time over 6f at Goondiwindi when resuming from a lay-off, beaten 2 lengths. Must raise the bar but a big run is on the cards. HADOUKEN (1) resumes. After closing off last campaign with three consecutive wins, the latest over 1m2 1/4f at darwin on august 5. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. One of the better hopes.
